In view of the problems existing in the performance evaluation of the special hydraulic engineering of inland waterway navigation and hydropower project,the paper set up a new power generation evaluation model based on the actual flow information and shipping requirements, and applied it to the performance evaluation work in a particular navigation and hydropower junction of water conservancy project of Xiangjiang River in 2010.The evaluation result shows that the model can directly and accurately reflect the completion situation of annual power generation and offer a good guidance for the performance evaluation work of future power generation in other navigation and hydropower junctions.
