This paper introduced the calculation result of irrigation water use coefficient calculated by fore and aft measuring method witch is recommended by The Ministry of water resources in Xinjiang in recent years.The coefficient was increased from 0.460 in 2007 to 0.506 in 2013gradually.Then it analyzed the present situation and problems of calculation work of irrigation water use coefficient in Xinjing such as improper allocation of water resources and blind pursuit of economic interests caused environmental degradation due to expanded cultivated land and water resources shortage in distribution management of water resources. At last, the reasonable countermeasures and suggestions were put forward. The result can provide reference for the balance of water and soil resources and the sustainable development of oasis agriculture in Xinjiang and has significance of reference for other provinces to develop similar work.
