The concrete structure suffers serious damage from hypothermia and de-icing salt erosion in the northern and coastal areas of China,which causes tremendous loss. In order to improve the durability of concrete, additives are offen used in engineering so as to enhance the function of concrete. The water freezing cycle and salt-freezing cycle test of polypropylene fiber concrete ware carried out to study its resistance and so as to set up the damage model of freeze-thaw cycle. Eventually, it concluded that the addition of polypropylene fiber improves frost and salt-frost resistance of concrete.
