The problem of seepage control is one of the main factors that affect the stability and safety of earth-rock dam. Along with the dam locations with the good geologic condition are gradually decreasing in our country, many dams which will be developed likely locate on the heterogeneous infinite deep pervious foundation.Therefore, the research upon seepage control on earth-rock dam built on the heterogeneous infinite deep pervious foundation has more practical significance. In order to reduce the seepage flow as far as possible under the premise of meeting the safe operation of dam, the paper used ABAQUS finite element software to analyze the seepage of micro porous seepage control wall at different depths. When the depth of seepage control wall reaches 10 times as high as upstream water depth, the amount of seepage reduction of dam is not obvious. When depth of the vertical impermeable wall reaches 2 times upstream water depth, the seepage gradient can meet the requirement, the safe operation of earth-rock dam is guaranteed.
