Aim at some problems and difficulties in the process dam engineering design and construction of motan hydropower station,using the successful experiences of built projects such as the Xiamaling Hydropower Station for reference,some suitable design scheme was proposed.Thereby some techinical problem and sheme selection suggestions have been summed up for gravity dam construction on soft foundations.
