Abstract:Asaneconomicandpracticalfoundationtreatmentmethod,vibroflotationgravelpilesarespe
ciallydesignedforweakstrata ,thequalitycontrolofwhichareofgreatsignificance,andthediameterof
thegravelpileisoneofthecoreelementsofthecontrolofpileformingprocess.Basedonthecalibration
ofmacroscopicandmesoscopicparametersofthegravelpileandsoil ,thepileformingprocessofthevi
broflotationgravelpileisanalyzedandthemainpileformingprocesses,suchasholeformingandclean
ing ,fillingandvibroflotationcompactionaresimulatedusingthediscreteelementmethod.Inthemean
time ,thepilediameterpredictioniscarriedout.Theresultsshowthattheparticleflowdiscreteelement
cansimulatetheflowbetweenthegravelandsoilintheprocessofvibroflotation,andthemodelreflects
theactualtransitioninterfacebetweengravelandsoil;intheprocessofretainingvibration,theporosityof
thesoilaroundthegravelanddensifiedsectiondecreasesgradually,indicatingthatthevibroflotation
gravelpilehasanobviouscompactioneffectonthesoilaroundthepile ;becausethediscreteelement
methodcansimulatetheinteractionbetweenthegravelandsoil ,thecalculatedfluctuationofpilediame
terandpileshapeismorereasonablethanthatofthecalculationmethodofconventionalformulas.
