                 Abstract:Hydrologicalmethodsarecommonlyadoptedinthesimulationprocessoftheoptimizationde
                 signofLIDfacilities ,whichisoftenflawedbylowsimulationaccuracy.Here,anautomaticoptimization
                 methodforcost-benefitschemesofLIDfacilityoptimizationdesignisproposedbasedontheNSGA- Ⅱ
                 algorithmandhighprecisionurbanoneandtwodimensionalcoupledhydrodynamicnumericalmodel.
                 Then ,thismethodisappliedtotheoptimizationdesignofthespongecityconstructioninXixianNewDis
                 trictofXi’anCity,andthreedifferentconstructioncostschemesoftheindividualandcombinedLIDfa
                 cilitiesareanalyzedrespectively.Theresultsshowthattheconstructioneffectsoftheindividualfacility
                 andcombinedLIDfacilitiesincreasewiththeincreaseoftheconstructioncost.Inthesamelowcostcon
                 structionscheme ,theconstructioneffectofthecombinedLIDfacilitiesislowerthanthatofanindividual
                 LIDfacility,butastheconstructioncostcontinuestoincrease,thefinalconstructioneffectofthecom
                 binedLIDfacilitieskeepsincreasingandthenexceedsthatoftheindividualfacility.Usingthismethod ,
                 decisionmakerscangrasptheinteractionbetweenthecostandeffectoftheconstructionandchoosean
                 optimalschemefortheconstructionofLIDfacilitiesthatmeetsactualengineeringneeds.
