In order to determine the optimal layout of profile steel bars in a steel reinforced concrete pier structure, the ANSYS software was used to perform finite element numerical calculation and analysis on the pier. Based on the calculation results of steel bar displacement, pier crack width, pier stress and steel bar stress obtained under two different calculation conditions and three different layout methods, it is concluded that when the number of profile steel bars is three, all aspects of working performance are better. On this basis, the influence of profile steel layout angle and layout size on the working performance of the pier was further studied. Finally, it is found that in the layout pattern of three steel bars, the optimal layout method is to set the angle between the steel bars to 12.5°, and choose two short and one long bars. The research results can provide theoretical support for the design of steel reinforced concrete pier structures.
