Aims and Scope

JWRWE is an interdisciplinary journal that focuses on water resources and water engineering. It publishes original research papers and comprehensive reviews in five subfields of water sciences, including hydrology and water resources, hydropower engineering, hydraulic structure engineering, civil engineering and agricultural water and soil engineering. The papers mainly discuss about issues of water engineering, water environment and water quality evaluation, as well as water based management and policy issues that impact on economics and society. Submissions are evaluated for their novelty, accuracy, significance, and broader implications of the findings. JWRWE aims to serve the development of economy, promote academic diversity, advance science and technology by publishing the latest development, achievements and developing trends of water sciences at home and abroad, which will in turn accelerate the transformation process of scientific research achievements to actual productive forces.
