To ungauged region spring ditch in Xinjiang,the runoff analysis and calculation about hydraulic project are done mainly by the use of reference station and catchments area of design section,and the key is how to choose the appropriate design station in accordance with the practical project．Taking the runoff investigation computing project of Xinjiang Beita mountain, Wulunbulake and so on five spring rivers and springs as typical example,through the analysis of recharge source, three characters , and correlation analysis of variation process runoff and precipitation in a year, the paper proposed some advises of how to choose the design reference station in no data region of spring ditch of Xinjiang．
