Through the investigation work of sixteen shallow wells in red beds area-Jiangyi township,Yuanmo county,Chuxiong prefecture,Yunnan province,the effect of geological structure,lithology and topography on groundwater storage law in red beds area was discussed primarily in this paper.Finally,some suggestions about layout,drilling of shallow well and groundwater development and utilization were also put forword.
