Abstract:Brackishwaterisanunconventionalwaterresources,anditseffectiveutilizationcansignifi
cantlyalleviatethecontradictionbetweensupplyanddemandofwaterresources.Exploringtheutilization
efficiencyofbrackishwaterresourcesisofgreatsignificanceforrealizingsustainableutilizationofwater
resources ,promotingeconomicandsocialdevelopment,aswellasprotectingecologicalenvironment.
BasedonthesuperefficiencySBMmodelandMalmquistproductivityindex ,wemeasuredandanalyzed
theutilizationefficiencyofbrackishwaterresourcesinHebeiProvincefrom2012to2022fromstaticand
dynamicaspects.Brackishwaterconsumptionforagricultural,industrialanddomesticuse,andbrackish
watercostpercubicmeterwereselectedasinputindices ,theproportionofbrackishwatersubstituting
freshwater ,thechangeofcropyieldunderbrackishwaterirrigation,theaddedvalueofagriculturalirri
gatedarea,andtheaddedvalueofbrackishwaterindustrywereusedasoutputindices.Theresultsshow
thattheaverageutilizationefficiencyofbrackishwaterresourcesinHebeiProvinceduring2012-2022is
0.575,andthemostefficientutilizationareasofbrackishwaterresourcesaremainlyconcentratedinCan
