Abstract:Inordertoexplorethewaterconsumptionandproductivitiesofvariouscroppingsystemsto
judgethepotentialofNorthChinaPlainintermsofalleviatingthegroundwateroverexploitation ,acom
parativeexperimentofthewaterconsumptionandproductivityofthreecroppingsystems(winterwheat-
summermaizesystem ,winterwheat-summersoybeansystemandwinterwheat-summerfallowsystem)
wascarriedoutatShunyiExperimentalStationofChineseAcademyofAgriculturalSciencesfrom2021to
2022.Alargescaleweighinglysimeterwasusedtomeasuretheevapotranspiration,soilwaterstorageand
leakageandthedualcropcoefficientmethodrecommendedbyFAO-56wasusedtoestimatetheevapo
transpirationofdifferentcroppingsystems.Theestimationeffectandtheresponsecharacteristicsofevapo
transpirationtotheenvironmentwereanalyzedandtherelationshipbetweenwateruseefficiency (WUE),
yieldandbenefitofdifferentcroppingsystemswerecompared.Theresultsshowedthatevapotranspiration
hadanexponentialrelationshipwithnetradiation ,aparabolicrelationshipwithtemperatureandalinear
relationshipwithvaporpressuredeficit,indicatingthattheFAO-56dualcropcoefficientmethodand
nonlinearfittingformulacouldbeusedtoestimatetheevapotranspirationofthethreecroppingsystems
