Abstract:Thekeyproblemsoftheseepageflowmonitoringofearth-rockdamsarehowtoclarifythein
fluenceofwaterlevel,rainfallandotherfactors,howtosimulatetherealseepageflowandevaluatethe
resultsoftheseepagemonitoringbasedontheprototypeobservation.Inviewofthis ,aregressionmodel
ofseepageflowandupstreamanddownstreamwaterlevelsisestablishedundertheconditionofnorainfall
usingtherandomforestalgorithmandtheprinciplesofmathematicalstatistics.Regardingtothecompre
hensiveinfluenceoftheseepageflowontheaccumulatedrainfallintheearlierperiod ,theGeneralized
AdditiveModelsforLocation,ScaleandShapeofGeneralizedLogisticDistribution(GAMLSS-GLO)is
introducedtosimulatethefluctuationintervalsofthemonitoringvaluesofseepageflowundertheinflu
enceofrainfall.Then ,GAMLSS-GLOissuperimposedwiththeseepageflow-waterlevelregression
modeltopredictthereliableintervalsoftheseepageflow.Finally ,themethodisappliedtotheseepage
monitoringofthecorewallearth-rockdaminNuozhaduReservoir.Theresultsshowthattheproposed
methodshowsgoodapplicabilitytothewaterlevelandrainfallresponseofseepageflow ,itcansignifi
cantlyimprovethequalityofseepagesimulationprediction ,andsolvetheconfidenceintervalsofseepage
flow,whichisconducivetojudgingtheoperationconditionandsafetymonitoringofearth-rockdams.
