Abstract:Water,energyandfoodarefundamentalresourcesforsustainabledevelopment.Howtocompre
hensivelyevaluatethecouplingandcoordinateddevelopmentofthewater-energy-foodsystemintheYan
gtzeRiverEconomicBeltfromtemporalandspatialperspectivesisveryimportantforpromotingthesustain
abledevelopmentofregionalresources.Here ,thewater-energy-foodsystemcouplingcoordinationevalu
ationindexsystemwasconstructedtakingwater ,energy,foodandthesymbioticunitsofwater-energy,
water-foodandenergy-foodsystemasinputunits,eachindexwasweightedbyentropymethod,andthen
thecouplingcoordinationmodelandspatialautocorrelationanalysiswasusedtoquantitativelystudytheco
ordinateddevelopmentofthewater-energy-foodsystemandthespatiotemporaldynamiccharacteristicsof
theYangtzeRiverEconomicBeltfrom2010to2019.Theresultsshowthatthecomprehensiveevaluationin
dexofthewater-energy-foodsystemintheYangtzeRiverEconomicBeltshowedaslowgrowthtrendasa
wholefrom2010to2019 ,amongwhichthewatersystemcontributedthemosttothecomprehensiveevalua
tionindexofthewater-energy-foodsystem ,withanaverageannualcontributionof21.57%;theenergy
systemcontributedtheleast ,whichwasonlyaccountedfor11.95%.Whereasthecouplingandcoordina
tionlevelofthewater-energy-foodsystemintheYangtzeRiverEconomicBeltincreasedfirstthende
creased ,amongwhichSichuanProvinceincreasedby5.05%,ChongqingCitydecreasedby2.83%,and
thedistributionpresentedsignificantspatialheterogeneity ,withtheupperreachessignificantlyhigherthan
