Abstract:Basedontherandomfiniteelementmethod(RFEM)andMonte-Carlosimulations,anon
stationaryrandomfieldmodelisestablishedforthesimulationofslopeswithdepthdependentsoilstrength
parametersorslopeswithweakinterlayers.Themostlikelyfailuresurfaceisobtainedbytheradiation
scanningmethod ,andtheslidingdepthandvolumeofthenonstationaryrandomfieldslopearesimula
ted.Thentheslidingdepthandvolumeobtainedbythismethodarecomparedwiththoseofthehomoge
neousslopeandthestationaryrandomfieldslope ,soastostudytheinfluenceofthenonstationaryran
domfieldslopewiththedepthdependentsoilstrengthparametersontheslidingdepthandvolumeunder
differentslopeanglesandanisotropyconditions.Theresultsindicatethatthestudyofnonstationaryran
domfieldslidingdepthandvolumebasedonRFEMprovidesareferentialanalysisangleforthegeological
hazardriskandconsequenceevaluation.Thehigherthedepthdependenceoftheparameter (thegreater
thechangerate b),theslowertheaverageslidingdepthandvolumeoftheslopegraduallydecreases.In
theprocessofevaluatingtheriskconsequencesofalargeslopelandslide ,apreliminaryestimationcanbe
madebasedontheresultsofthehomogeneousslopeanalysis.Inanonstationaryrandomfield ,asthean
isotropyincreases ,thevariationcoefficientoftheslidingvolumeatallanglesincrease.Underdifferent
slopeangles,thegreaterthecorrelationofthesoilslopeinthehorizontaldirection,thegreatertheuncer
