Abstract:Runoffisanimportantindexwhichcanreflecttheclimateandgeographicalenvironment
changeinabasin,analyzingitsmultiscalevariabilityandinfluencingfactorsisofgreatsignificancefor
theunderstandingofhydrologicalchangesandtheprotectionofwaterresourcessecurityundertheback
groundofclimatechange.TheXiaojueRiverSubbasin (XJ)andYeRiverSubbasin(YR)inthe
mountainousHutuoRiverBasinwereselectedtostudythemultiscalerunoffvariabilityoftendencies,ab
ruptchangesandperiodsusingM-Ktrendtest ,abruptchangetestandMorletwaveletanalysisbasedon
themonitoredhydrologicalandmeteorologicaldata.Meanwhile ,therelativeimportanceofdrivingforces
(temperature,precipitation,potentialevapotranspirationandleafareaindex)atdifferentperiods(flood
seasonandnonfloodseason)onmonthlyrunoffchangeswererevealedbycorrelationanalysisandrandom
forestmodel.Resultsshowedthatfrom1960to2018,theannualaveragerunoffdepthofthetwosubba
