                 Abstract:Inordertocomprehensivelyevaluatetheregionalwaterresourcessustainability,aregionalwa
                 terresourcessustainabilityevaluationsystemwasconstructedbasedonthecompositesystemofwaterre
                 sources,socialeconomyandecologicalenvironment.Theprojectionpursuitmodelandcloudmodelwere
                 usedtoreasonablyassignthecomprehensiveweightofeachindex ,andthenormalcloudmodelwasa
                 doptedtodeterminetheindexmembershipdegree.Then ,aregionalwaterresourcessustainabilityevalua
                 tionmodelbasedonthecombinedweightandcloudmodelwasestablishedtoevaluatethestatusofwater
                 resourcessustainabilityofninecitiesinthePearlRiverDelta.Theresultsshowthatthewaterresources
                 sustainabilityofthePearlRiverDeltaUrbanAgglomerationshowedanoverallupwardtrendfrom2007to
                2020 ,whichhasreachedapreferablelevelby2020.Thespatialpatternofwaterresourcessustainability
                 intheregionshowsthattheeasterncitiesarebetterthanthewesterncitiesandthesoutherncoastalcities
                 arebetterthanthefarcoastalcities.Thelevelsofsustainabilityamongthesubsystemsarenotconsistent,
                 theecologicalenvironmentsubsystemisatagooddevelopmentlevel,whereasthewaterresourcessubsys
                 temandsocialeconomysubsystemarethemainfactorscausingthespatialdifferenceofwaterresources
                 sustainabilityinthePearlRiverDeltaUrbanAgglomeration.
