Abstract:Fortrapezoidalcanalsinopenwatertransfersystems,anovelmethodforcalculatingthedistri
butionofnonlinearnormalfrostheavingforcewasproposedconsideringthehorizontaldifferenceofdis
tancetogroundwatertableofeachtestpoint.ThenWinklerassumptionofthetangentialforceonthein
terfaceoffrozensoilandliningwasintroducedtoderiveacalculationmethodofthedistributionofnon
lineartangentialadfreezingforce.Eventually ,afrostheavingmechanicalmodeloftrapezoidalcanalcon
sideringnonlineardistributionofnormal/tangentialstressontheinterfacewasconstructed.Takinga
trapezoidalcanalinTarimIrrigatedAreaasanexample ,theinfluenceofgroundwatertableburieddepth
wonthedistributionofsectionmomentofconcreteliningwasanalyzedbythismodel.Theresultsshow
