Abstract:Inrecentyears,thephenomenaof“seeingtheseaincities”and“seeingtheriverincities”
haveoccurredfromtimetotime,whichhavearousedwidespreadconcernamongexpertsandscholars.In
ordertostudytheinteractionbetweenurbanizationlevelandfloodrisk ,weusedArcGIStechnologyand
thecomprehensiveevaluationmethodtoevaluatethefloodriskinsomeadministrativedistrictsofNanjing
Cityatdifferenturbanizationlevels ,takingintoaccountthefactorsofdisastercausingfactors,disaster
breedingenvironment ,disasterbearingbodyandfloodmitigationcapacity.Theresultsshowthatwiththe
increaseofurbanizationlevel ,theoverallfloodriskinthestudyareashowsanincreasingtrend,andthe
floodriskofthedistrictsisbasicallypositivelycorrelatedwiththeurbanizationlevel,amongwhichQin
huaiandGuloudistrictareatthehighestrisklevel,followedbyJianyeandYuhuataidistrict,whereas
JiangningandLishuidistricthavebeenmaintainingalowrisklevel.Theresearchresultscancorrectlyre
flecttheactualdistributionoffloodriskinNanjing ,indicatingthevalidityoftheresearchmethodandthe
reliabilityoftheresearchresults.Therefore,itcanprovideatheoreticalsupportforfloodriskmanage
mentofrelevantgovernmentdepartments.
