Abstract:Boththerandomnessoftheseismicmotionandthedamstructuralparametershaveanimpor
tantimpactonthestabilityandreliabilityofgravitydams.Inthispaper ,theantislidingstabilitylimit
stateequationoftheconstructionfoundationsurfaceofgravitydamwasestablished ,withthemaximum
valuesofthehorizontalandverticalinertialforceofthedambodyinthestochasticprocessastherandom
variables.Bythedeterminationofthemeanandvarianceoftherandomvariablesaccordingtotheparam
etersofthestochasticprocess ,thedualrandomnessproblemsofseismicloadandstructuralparameters
weremergedintoonerandomvariablemode.Then,theJCmethodwasusedtoanalyzethereliabilityof
theantislidingstabilityofthefoundationsurfaceofagravitydaminanactualproject ,andthefailure
probabilityoftheantislidingstabilityofthegravitydamwasanalyzedbasedontheprobabilityofearth
quakeoccurrence.Finally ,thesensitivityofrandomparametersofeachstructuretoreliabilityandfailure
probabilitywasanalyzedbyorthogonaltestmethod.Theresultsshowthattheproposedmethodwiththe
maximumvalueofthestochasticprocessastherandomvariablecanbeusedfortheanalysisoftherelia
bilityoftheantislidingstabilityofgravitydamsunderthedoublerandomsituationofseismicmotionand
structuralparameters.Thereliableindexofantislidingstabilityalongthefoundationsurfaceofthiscon
cretegravitydamwas4.23 ,thefailureprobabilitywas0.00117%.Thefrictioncoefficientofthefoun
