                 Abstract:Duetotheproblemthatthesmallscalephysicalmodelofthelongdistanceflooddiversiontun
                 nelisdifficulttoprovidesimilarresistanceconditionswiththeactualsituation ,wecarriedoutasmall
                 scalephysicalmodeltestontheflowcapacityoftheinletgatechambersectionandthedeliverycapacity
                 ofthetunnelsectionofaflooddiversiontunnelinacountyofShanxiProvince.Basedonthecharacteris
                 ticsthatuniformflowcanbeformedinthetunnelsection ,thecalculationmethodofopenchanneluni
                 formflowisusedtoverifythemeasuredresults.Theresultsshowthattheminimumdifferencebetween

                 thecalculatedflowandthemeasuredflowis11.71m /s,andtherelativeerroris1.93%.Becausethe
                 distanceoftheentrancegatechambersectionisshortandthelocallossisfargreaterthantheonwayre
                 sistanceloss,thewaterdepthatthestakenumber0+099.25mofthetunneliscontrolledtothenormal
                 depthofthetunneltodirectlyverifyitsflowcapacity;theresultsshowthatthemaximumerrorofthecal
                 culatedflowrateoftheentrancegatechambersectiondoesnotexceed1.78%.Inthecaseoftheflood
                 oncein30years ,theflowcapacityofthegatechamberandtunneloftherecommendedschemearebasi
