Abstract:Combingthewater-airstratifiedflowtheory,atheoreticalcalculationmodelofthejointflood
dischargeandventilationsystemofdischargeandspillwaytunnelsinRumeiHydropowerStationisestab
lishedtoclarifytheventilationcharacteristicsofthemultipletunnels.Thevariationpatternsofnegative
pressureineachtunnel ,windspeedandventilationquantitychangeofeachairductwiththeheightoffree
spaceabovewaterindischargetunnelsandthecrosssectionalsizeofairductsareplottedandsummarized.
Theresultsshowthatthenegativepressureofthedischargetunnelspresentedthepatternofthreepartitions
withthecoexistenceofminimumandmaximumvalues ,whereasthatofthespillwaytunnelsshowednoob
viouschange;themaximum valueofwindspeedandventilationquantityofairductoccurredinthedis
chargetunnels,whereastheminimumvalueoftheventilationquantityofairductoccurredinthespillway
tunnels.Anoverallconsiderationoftheventilationparameterchangesineachtunnelcanprovideadesign
basisforthesizeselectionofdischargetunnelsandairductsinthejointflooddischargesystem.
