Abstract:Precisewaterresourcesallocationandfieldmanagementstrategiesaddressingcompoundagri
culturaldroughtsandheatevents(CADHEs)areessentialforcropgrowthinHuaibeiPlain.Thisstudy
aimstoexplorethecharacteristictrendsandunderlyingdrivingfactorsofCADHEsduringtheheadingto
fillingandfillingtomaturitystagesofwinterwheat ,aswellastheentiregrowthperiodofsummermaize
inthestudyarea.StandardizedtemperatureandsoilmoistureindiceswereusedtoidentifyCADHEs,
basedonthedailymeantemperatureand0-100cmsoilmoisturedatafromtheWudaogouHydrological
ExperimentalStationspanningfrom1986to2021.ThecharacteristicsandtrendsofCADHEsfrequency,
intensity,andmaximumconsecutivedaysbeforeandaftertheabruptchangeintemperaturein1994were
compared,andthemaindrivingfactorsofCADHEschangeswereidentifiedbyCopulafunction.There
sultsshowthatthehighestfrequencyofCADHEsoccurredduringthefillingtomaturitystageofwinter
