                 Abstract:Waterresourcesplayanessentialroleinsocioeconomicdevelopment,andtheevaluationof
                 waterresourcesvulnerabilityisconducivetoregionaldevelopmentandsustainableutilizationofwaterre
                 sources.Basedontheanalyticalframeworkofvulnerabilityscopingdiagram (VSD),wedevelopeda
                 compositewaterresourcesvulnerabilityevaluationsystemfromexposure ,sensitivityandadaptabilitydi
                 mensions.Subsequently ,acomprehensivespatiotemporalanalysisofwaterresourcesvulnerabilityin
                 GuangdongProvinceovertheperiodof2010-2022wascarriedoutbymeansoftrendanalysisandspatial
                 autocorrelationmethod.Theresultsshowthatwaterresourcesvulnerabilityshowedadistributionpattern
                 of “highinthesouthandcentral;lowinthenorth,eastandwest”.ThecoreregionofthePearlRiver
                 Deltapresentedthehighestlevelofwaterresourcesvulnerability ,followedbytheeastandwestGuang
                 dong;whereasthenorthGuangdongexbibitedthelowest.Inthestudyperiod,thewaterresourcesvulner
                 abilityofmostcitiesinGuangdongProvincehasdecreased ;whilethatofShenzhenhasincreased.The
                 waterresourcesvulnerabilityofGuangdongProvinceexhibitedapositivespatialautocorrelationandthere
                 wasastrengtheningtrendinspatialagglomeration.High-highclusteringareasweremainlydistributedin
                 thePearlRiverDeltaregion ,whilelow-lowclusteringareasinthenorthandwestGuangdong.This
                 studyclarifiedthedistributionpatternofwaterresourcesvulnerabilityinGuangdongProvince,soasto
