Abstract:Blockstonefillersarecommonlyusedforthepavinglayeroftheroad.Tostudythevibration
compactionprocessandeffectofthepavinglayerwithblockstonefillers,thevibrationcompactiontests
wereconductedbydiscreteelementmethodundertwoloadingconditionsof“slowsmallvibrationforce”
and“fastlargevibrationforce”.Theparticledisplacement,stressresponse,interparticlevoidratio,and
compactionprocessofblockstonefillersunderthetwoloadingconditionswerecomparedandanalyzed.
Theresultsshowthatincreasingthenumberofcompactionpassescansignificantlyincreasetheparticle
displacementandreducetheinterparticlevoidratio ,indicatingthatthesurfacesettlementrateofthe
pavinglayerhasastronglinearcorrelationwiththeinterparticlevoidratio.Theeffectofcompactionen
ergy(suchasparticledisplacement,reductiondegreeofvoidratio,peakdynamicstress,andincrement
