Abstract:Clarifyingthespatialdifferentiationcharacteristicsandresponsemechanismofgreendevelop
mentisakeylinkinachievingthecoordinateddevelopmentofthreemajorurbanagglomerationsinthe
YangtzeRiverEconomicBelt (YREB).Thisstudyproposedacloudmodelbasedgreendevelopmente
valuationframeworkandawaterresourcesecologicalfootprintmodeltoexplorethespatial-temporal
characteristicsofgreendevelopmentandwaterresourcesutilizationpatterninthethreeurbanagglomera
tionsfrom2000to2025.Onthisbasis ,thethresholdeffectofindustrialagglomerationonregionalgreen
developmentanditsspatialheterogeneitywereinvestigatedfromtheperspectiveofwaterresourcesutiliza
tion ,anddifferentiateddevelopmentstrategieswerefurtherproposed.Theresultsshowedthatthegreen
developmentlevelofcitiesinthethreeurbanagglomerationsallreachedamoderatelevelandabove,ex
ceptSuiningandXiaogan.Waterresourcesecologicalfootprintpresentedanincreasingtrend ,andthe
proportionofsewagefootprintexhibitedaspatialpatternof “highintheeastandwestbutlowinthecen
ter ”e.Therewasalargespatialheterogeneityinthresholdeffectofgreendevelopmentlevelinthethree
urbanagglomerations ,andtheimpactofcoagglomerationongreendevelopmentoftheYREBcontinued

toincrease.Whenwaterresourcesecologicalfootprintexceeded0.379hm /cap,theimpactofproducer
serviceagglomerationoftheChengdu-Chongqingurbanagglomerationhasaninhibitoryeffectongreen
