Abstract:Theinteractionsbetweentheurbandevelopmentandthesystemofwaterresourcesandenvi
ronmentarecomplicated.Toanalyzetheircouplingcoordinationmechanism ,anevaluationindexsystem
wasestablishedbasedon“drivingforce-pressure-state-impact-response”(DPSIR)frameworkand
thecouplingcoordinationmodel.Subsequently ,51county(district)leveladministrativeunitsofthe
DaqingRiverBasininBeijing-Tianjin-Hebeiregionin2015and2021wereanalyzedbytheevaluation
indexsystem.Theresultsshowthattherelationshipbetweenurbandevelopmentandthesystemofwater
resourcesandenvironmentinthecounties (districts)oftheDaqingRiverBasingenerallypresenteda
higherextentofpositiveeffectsthannegativeeffects.However,theurbanization-waterrelationshipwas
atalowcouplinglevel,withanaveragecouplingdegree(C)of0.40in2015and2021.Furthermore,
mostcounties(districts)showedthecharacteristicsofurbanizationorienteddevelopment,andhighlevel
ofenvironmentalpressure.Thecouplingcoordinationlevelshowedsignificantspatialdifferences,witha
highercoordinationlevelinthelowerreachesoftheDaqingRiverBasinthanthatintheupperreaches.
Theresultscanprovideareferenceforoptimizingthewaterresourcesmanagementpolicyandpromoting
thesustainabledevelopmentoftheDaqingRiverBasin.
