EffectofFroudenumberandReynoldsnumberonaerationof
highspeedflowinspillwaytunnel

Abstract:BasedonthemodelconstructionofthedeepholespillwayofLianghekouHydropowerStation,
theinfluenceofFroudenumberandReynoldsnumberonhighspeedflowaerationisstudied.Theresults
showthatwiththeincreaseofFroudenumberandReynoldsnumber ,theaerationeffectofwaterflowis
enhanced,andwiththevariationofFroudenumber,theaerationconcentrationinthesamesectionpres
entsCshaped,Sshapedandhorizontaldistribution,respectively.Accordingtothecomparisonofthe
relativepositionofthemeasuredsectionandthedistributionlawoftheaerationconcentration ,therelative
positionsoftheaerationcarryingarea ,thedissipationareaandtheuniformaerationmixingareaare0-
1 ,1-1.5andafter1.5,respectively.Thebottomaerationconcentrationgraduallydecreasesalongthe
course,whiletheaverageaerationconcentrationincreasesfirstandthendecreases;thebottomaeration
concentrationgraduallyincreaseswiththeincreaseofFroudenumberandReynoldsnumber,andtheav
erageaerationconcentrationgraduallyincreaseswiththeincreaseofFroudenumberandthedecreaseof
Reynoldsnumber.Thisstudysummarizedthedominantfrequencyrangeofthenegativepressureofthe
cavity ,thebottomoftheventilationshaft,theendofthecavitylengthandthepulsatingpressureofthe
flow ;anddiscussedtherelationshipbetweencavitylength,protectionlength,air-waterratio,negative
pressureindexandFroudenumber.
