               Abstract:Landscapedamsplayanimportantroleinurbanriverfloodcontrolanddrainage,aswellasur
               banwaterlandscapeconstruction.However ,continuousflownoiseisoftengeneratedwhenthedamdischar
               ges,whichcausespollutiontotheacousticenvironmentinthenearshoreareaoftheriver.Weirstructure,
               asanintegralpartofthedam,inevitablyaffectsthedischargenoiseandpropagationcharacteristics;toclar
               ifyitsinfluence ,differentweirtypeswerestudiedbyfieldmonitoringandnumericalsimulation.Theresults
               showthatthedifferenceofflowvelocity,turbulencedegreeandvorticitycausedbydifferencesinweirtypess
               hasagreatimpactonthesoundsourcecharacteristicsofdischargenoise.Largeoverflowsurfaceslopeand
               weirheight,aswellassmallthicknessofweirbodyoftenleadtodischargenoisewithlargesoundpressure
               level ;however,thepressurelevelcanbeeffectivelyreducedbythestillingbasinstructurebehindtheweir.
               Thedissipationnoiseenergyofoverflowsurfacestructurewithflipbuckethasafastattenuationspeedalong
               thecourse ,andhaslittleinfluenceontheacousticenvironment.Incomparison,thelowfrequencyenergy
               ofthedischargenoiseoftheweirwithlargeslopeandsmallbottomwidthisrelativelystrong,whichhasa
               greaterimpactonhumanhealth.Theresearchresultscanprovideatechnicalsupportforthenoisereduction
               ofurbanlandscapedams.
