                 Abstract:Tomoreaccuratelyidentifyandpredictdroughtevents,thisstudyusesthelongseriesofdaily
                 runoffintheLinjiacunHydrologicalStationfrom1960to2020asdatainput.Bycombiningstatisticsand
                 dynamicsmethods ,wecalculatedhydrologicaldroughtprobabilityP,runofffractaldimensionD andrun

                 isusedtoreconstructthephasespace,withinwhichthefuturedroughteventsarepredicted.Theresearch
                 resultsshowthatthestatisticalparameter PhasagoodlinearrelationshipwiththechaoticparameterD 2

                 andLE,withregressionequationR valuesof0.93and0.83,respectively.Withinthepredictioninter
                 val,therunoffZindexfor2021ispredictedtobe1.69bythechaoticpredictionmodel,correspondingto
                 ahydrologicaldroughtstateof “nodrought”.Thisconclusionisconsistentwiththeactualhydrological
                 situation,demonstratingagoodpredictiveperformanceofthemodel.Thisresearchcanprovideanewap
                 proachforthestudyofdroughttheory.
