               Abstract:Antibioticswithlowermetaboliclevelssuchastetracycline(TC)andciprofloxacin(CIP)can
               causeseriouspollutiontowaterbodies ,biochar(BC)iscommonlyusedforthetreamentofwastewaterpol
               lutedbytheseantibiotics.Activationisoneofthemainmethodstoimprovetheadsorptionpropertiesofbio
               char.Withbagasseastherawmaterial ,anovelmodifiedbiochar,namelyKFBC,waspreparedusingKOH
               astheactivatorandFeCl·6HOastheimpregnatingsolvent;inthemeantime,bagasseBCwasalsopre

               paredforthestudyasthecontrol.Firstly,theeffectsofKOHactivationandFeCldopingonthestructural

               andphysicochemicalpropertiesofKFBCwereanalyzedbyvariouscharacterizationmethods.Then,thead
               sorptionpropertiesandmechanismofKFBContetracyclineorciprofloxacininsolutionswereinvestigatedby
               theadsorptionmethod.Theresultsshowthatmorecarbonstructuredefectsform afterKOH activation ,
               whichaffectsthetypeandquantityoffunctionalgroupsandsurfaceelectricityofBC.ThedopingofFeCl

               enhancesthemagneticpropertiesofBCandfacilitatestherecyclingofKFBC.Inaddition,pH haslittle
               effectontheadsorptionreaction,whichindicatesthattheadsorptionbyKFBCactinawidepHrange.The
               adsorptionofTCandCIPbyKFBCisfeaturedbychemisorption ,whichisaspontaneousandendothermic
               processwithincreasingfreedomandentropy.ThetheoreticalmaximumadsorptioncapacityofTCandCIP
               byKFBCcanreach743and794mg/g.ThedominantmechanismofKFBCisnotelectrostaticadsorption
