                 Abstract:Theseepagesafetyandstabilityoftailingsdamisseriouslyaffectedbyterrainconditions.Rea
                 sonablesiteselectionoftailingsreservoiristhefoundationofsafeandstableoperationofthedambodyin
                 thelaterstage.Basedonthenumericalsimulationmethod ,theinfluenceofindividualtopographicfactors
                 ontheseepagefieldofdambodyisinvestigatedbychangingthebankslope ,valleywidthandlongitudinal
                 sloperatioofgullyandvalley.Itisfoundthattheslopesofbothsidesofthevalleyhavethegreatestin
                 fluenceonthesaturationlineofthetailingsdam ,followedbythebottomwidthandthelongitudinalslope
                 ratioofgullyandvalley.Atthesametime ,thethreedimensionalseepagenumericalmodelofatailings
                 reservoirisconstructedbasedonthemeasureddigitalelevationmodel (DEM)dataoftheconcreteproject
                 andtheformationsurveydata.Subsequently,thetopographicfactorsareextractedtoconductanumerical
                 analysisoftheseepagefieldofthedambody.Itisfoundthatthevalleytopographyisthemainfactoraf
                 fectingthegroundwaterflowstate ,anditissuggestedtochoosetheterrainwithrelativelysmalllongitudi
                 nalslopeofgullyandrelativelyflatterrainasthesiteselectionrequirementsoftailingsreservoirs.Onthis
                 basis ,therelationshipformulabetweenterrainfactorsandtheelevationofthesaturationlineestablished
                 bythemultiplelinearregressionmodel.Theresearchresultscanprovideatheoreticalbasisforthesafety
                 andstabilitydesignoftailingsdams.
