                 Abstract:Thispapercarriesoutasimulationanalysisofthethermalstressinthewholedamsectionof
                 therockfilledconcreteenddamofYebatanHydropowerProjectinthehighaltitudecoldregion ,focusing
                 ontheeffectsoftransversejointsettingandsurfacethermalinsulation.Theresultsdemonstratethatset
                 tingatransversejointcaneffectivelycontrolthescopeofhightensilestressarea ,andreducethemaxi
                 mumprincipalstressbyabout0.8MPa.Surfaceinsulationmeasurescaneffectivelyreducethetempera
                 turefluctuationofthesurfaceconcreteandreducethemaximumprincipalstressbyabout0.6MPa.Asa
                 result ,Yebatanenddamcansatisfythetemperaturecontrolrequirementsbysettingatransversejointand
