                 Abstract:Toinvestigatethemodelsimulationaccuracyofsecondaryflowandeddystructureindynamic
                 bedbends,thesimulationaccuracyofbedmorphologyduringscouringandsiltationprocessinbendsby
                 thelargeeddymodel (LES)andtheRNGk-ε modelwasverifiedbythescourflumeexperimentsofa
                90°horizontalbendbyBarbhuiya,andtheresultsoftheLESmodelwerefoundtobemoreaccurate.
                 BasedonthesimulationresultsoftheLESmodel ,thebottomvortexstructuregeneratedbysecondaryflow
                 wasidentifiedbytheQcriterion,accordingtowhichthequantitativeeffectofvortexstructureonbed
                 scouringandsiltationwasanalyzed.Theresultsshowthatintheprocessofclearwaterscouringthedy
                 namicbedbend,thebottomvortextendstobestablewhentheQvalueisbetween30-50,andbecomes
                 strongenoughtoaffectthebedscouringandsiltationwhen Q >50,becauseastrongandstablevortex
                 structurecanstabilizethebedmorphology ,leadingtoaconstantbedscouringandsiltationrate,which

                 changeswithin2×10 m/s.Accordingtotheanalysisoftherelationshipbetweentheshearflowvelocity
                 inthebendandthebedmorphology,therearetwotypesofhighshearflowvelocityareasinthebend,
                 whentheshearvelocityvalueofthefirsttypeareaislargerthanthatofthesecondtype,obviousscouring
                 pitswithadepthgreaterthan0.10mwillappearonthebedsurface.Theresultsofthisstudycanbe
                 usedasareferenceforthesimulationofsiltationequilibriumandbedmorphologyinthebends.
