               Abstract:Thepressurelessscreenfilterinstalledinfrontofthepumpcaneffectivelysolvetheproblemsof
               highenergyconsumptionandlargepressurelossoftheconventionalfilterwhichisinstalledbehindthe
               pump.Inordertoevaluatethefiltrationeffectmoreaccuratelyandcomprehensively ,thecommonlyused
               prepumppressurelessscreenfilterinXinjiangwastakenastheresearchobject ,andlaboratoryandinsitu
               experimentswerecarriedoutsimutaneously.Intheexperiments,theconceptandcalculationmethodofthe
               effectivefiltrationefficiencywereproposed.Theexperimentresultsshowthatthelargerthesandcontentbe
               forefiltration ,thegreatertheaveragefiltrationefficiencyofthetotalsand.However,thetotalsandfiltration
               efficiencyatacertainmomentdoesnotnecessarilyincreasewiththeincreaseofthesandcontentbeforefil
               tration,reflectingthatthefiltrationefficiencyisnotonlyrelatedtothesandcontent,butalsorelatedtothe
               meshdiameter ,particlesizeandparticlegroupsizedistribution.Beforeandafterfiltration,thechangeof
               particlegroupforfinesandisnotobvious,whereasthatofthecoarsesandchangessignificantly.Therefore,
               thescreenofthefilterisonlyeffectiveforthefiltrationofsandparticleswithaparticlesizelargerthanthe
               meshdiameter(0.180mminthisstudy).Accordingtotheproposedconceptofeffectivefiltrationefficien
               cy,theaverageeffectivefiltrationefficiencyofcoarseandfinesandwascalculatedtobe95.5% and
