                 Abstract:Theselectionoftoeinterfaceparametersisimportantfortheaccuracyofnumericalmodeling
                 resultsforreinforcedsoilretainingwallswithhardfacings.However ,theshearstiffnessvalueoftoeinter
                 facecanbeonlydeterminedfromthesheartestsonconcreteinterfaces,whichisinconvenientandtime
                 consuming.Acalculationmodelofthetoeinterfaceshearstiffnessisproposedbasedontherelationship
                 betweentheshearstiffness ,frictionangleandnormalstressoftheconcrete-concreteinterfaceobtained
                 fromaseriesoflargescalesheartests.Theinputparametersoftheproposedcalculationmodelarewall
                 heightandtoeinterfacefrictionanglethatcanbeobtainedfromasimpletilttabletest.Theproposedcal
                 culationmodelisusedforprovidingtheshearstiffnessvaluesoftoeinterfaceinthenumericalsimulations
                 ofthreereinforcedsoilretainingwallswithdifferenttoerestraintconditions.Itisfoundthatthecalculated
                 reinforcementstrainsofeachwallagreewellwiththemeasuredones ,andthechangeofthecalculatedre
                 inforcementloadswithtoerestraintconditionsisconstantwiththephysicalmodeltestresults.Theabove
                 numericalresultsprovethefeasibilityoftheproposedcalculationmodeloftoeinterfaceshearstiffness.
