Abstract:TakingJiangsuProvinceastheresearchobject,theindexoftransboundarywaterdependence
degreeisproposedtodescribethecontradictionbetweenlocalwaterresourcesandwaterconsumption.
Furthermore,theindexesoftransboundarywaterdependencedegreeandwaterusebalancedegreearese
lectedtoanalyzethewaterresourcesutilizationstructure.Meanwhile,theriskcharacteristicsofdrought
disasterinJiangsuProvinceareanalyzedfromtheperspectivesofagriculturaldroughtdisasterriskandur
bandroughtdisasterrisk.TheresultsshowthatthelocalwaterresourcesinJiangsuProvincewasinsuffi
cient ,theaveragetransboundarywaterdependencedegreeofJiangsuProvincefrom2017to2020reached
1.70,indicatingthatthewatersupplyofJiangsuwashighlydependentontheYangtzeRiver.From2017
to2020,thewaterconsumptionofagricultureandindustryaccountedfor47% and42% oftheprovince’s
averagewaterconsumption ,respectively.ThewaterbalancedegreeofeachcityinJiangsuProvincevar
iedgreatly,ofwhichthemaximum valuereached0.746andtheminimum was0.346.Agricultural
droughtdisasterriskinJiangsuProvincemainlydistributedintheendpointsofwaterdiversionprojectsin
XuzhouandLianyungangCity ,andalsoinYilimountainsofNingCounty,southofJiangsuProvince.
However,therewasnoobviousspatialregularityinthedistributionofurbandroughtdisasterrisk.
