                 theChinesenation.BasedontheintroductionofthebasicoverviewanddevelopmenthistoryoftheYellow
                 RiverBasin ,thedifficultiesandproblemsinthecurrentYellowRivergovernancewereanalyzed,thebas
                 ichistoricalcontextoftheYellowRiverfloodcontrolwasclarifiedandtheevolutionprocessoftheYellow
                 Riverfloodcontrolthoughtanditsrepresentativeviewsweresummarized.Furthermore,theresearchpro
                 gressofmodernfloodcontroloftheYellowRiverwassystematicallyreviewedcenteringongovernanceide
                 asandobjectives.Basedonthecharacteristicsoftheneweraanditsdemandforfloodcontrolofthe
                 YellowRiver ,themodernfloodcontrolstrategiesoftheYellowRiverthatmeetthedemandofthenewera
                 wereputforward,includingfloodcontrolthought,floodcontrolstrategiesandfloodcontrollayout.Final
                 ly,thefutureresearchdirectionsofthemodernfloodcontrolresearchoftheYellowRiverwereproposed
                 frommultipleperspectives.Theresearchresultscanprovidesomereferenceforthegovernanceofthe
                 YellowRiverBasin.
