Abstract:Thelowtensilestrengthofloessisoneoftheimportantcausesofthefrequentoccurrenceof
hazardsintheengineeringconstructioninloessarea.Regardingtothisproblem,thenumericalsimulation
ofloessaxialfracturingtestiscarriedoutusingthediscreteelementprogramPFC2D ,withwhichthein
fluenceofsinglemesoparametersonthetensilepropertiesofloessisstudiedbyvariablecontrolmethod,
andthesensitivityofeachmesoparameterisanalyzedbyorthogonaltest.Theresultsshowthatthetensile
strengthofloessdecreaseslogarithmicallywiththe 珋 珋
k/kratioofbondingstiffness,andincreaseslinearly

withthebondingstrength 珚 andradiusmultiplier 珔 .Moreover,Thetensilestiffnessofloessdecreases

hasthestrongestinfluenceonthetensilestrength,thebondingstiffnessratiohasthestrongestinfluence
onthetensilestiffness ,andtheparticlesizeratior hastheweakestinfluenceonthetensilestrengthand
thetensilestiffness.Thestudycanprovidesomereferencefortheselectionofmesoparametersinthenu
mericalsimulationofloessaxialfracturingtests.
