                 Abstract:Basedontheconstructionofathreelevelindexevaluationsystemofindustrialagglomeration
                 andwaterpollution,modelssuchascouplingcoordinationwereadoptedtoanalyzeindustrialagglomera
                 tion,waterpollution,andthedevelopmentlevelofcoupledcoordinationbetweenthesetwoaspectsand
                 typesofrelativedevelopmentinordertostrengthenthestudyoftheimpactofindustrialagglomerationon
                 thewaterpollutioninHenansectionoftheYellowRiverBasin.Theresultsshowthatthedegreeofindus
                 trialagglomerationoftheeightcitiesinthesectionissignificantlydifferentiatedandgenerallylow ,but
                 theaverageannualgrowthrateisvariedgreatly.Thecomprehensiveevaluationindexofthewaterpollu
                 tionisfluctuatingwithsignificantregionaldifferences.Thecouplingcoordinationdevelopmentofindustri
                 alagglomerationandwaterpollutionisthecoexistenceoftheantagonisticstageandtherunninginstagein
                2018 ,2012,2015and2017,andtransformedtotheantagonisticstagein2020.Inaddition,therelative
                 developmenttypestransferredfromfourtypes(type Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ andV)in2008tothreetypes(type Ⅰ,
                 Ⅱ andⅢ)in2020.Theresearchresultscancorrectlyreflectthecouplingcoordinationbetweenthein
                 dustrialagglomerationandwaterpollutioninHenansectionoftheYellowRiverBasin.Forthepromotion
                 ofhighqualityeconomicdevelopmentandtheachievementofthestrategicobjectivesof “buildingare
                 sourcesavingandenvironmentfriendlysociety”,itissuggestedthatthemodernindustrialstructure
