                 Abstract:Inordertoensuretheperformanceofsemirigidsubgradeunderthepremiseofmaximumuse
                 ofsteelslag ,naturallygradedcementstabilizedsteelslagmixwithpoorgradationwasappliedtolow
                 graderoadsubgradetoexploretheinfluenceofgradationonthemechanicalproperties ,shrinkageproper
                 tiesanddurabilityofcementstabilizedsteelslagmix.Moreover,thefeasibilityandapplicabilityofthis
                 mixintheconstructionofsemirigidsubgradeoflowgraderoadswereinvestigated.Theresultsshowed
                 thatthemechanicalpropertiesofthefourtypesofgradedcementstabilizedsteelslagmixesincreasedwith
                 theincreaseofageandcementdosage ,withthebestperformanceofthemixwithmediumgradationand
                 theworstperformanceofthatwithnaturalgradation.Thegradationsignificantlyaffectsthemechanical
                 properties,shrinkagepropertiesanddurabilitypropertiesofthemix.Althoughtheroadpreformanceof
                 naturallygradedcementstabilizedsteelslagmixisinferiorduetopoorgradation,itsroadperformancein
                 dicatorsarestillabletomeettherequirementsofthespecificationforlowgraderoads,aswellasmaximi
                 zestheuseofsteelslagintheconstructionofroadsubgrade ,whichwillbringbettersocialandeconomic
                 benefits.Therefore ,itisrecommendedthatthecementstabilizedsteelslagmixwithnaturalgradedsteel
                 slagshouldbeadoptedforthelowgraderoadsubgrade.
