                 Abstract:Safeguardingtheecologicalbaseflowisthebasicrequirementofmaintainingtheecological
                 healthandfunctionsofrivers.BasedonthelongseriesrunoffdataofQingshizui ,Tiantang,Liancheng
                 andXiangtangstationsintheDatongRiverBasin ,thebaseflowproportionmethod,Tennantmethod,the
                 multiyearaverageofthedriestmonthlyaverageflowmethod ,90thpercentilemethodand7Q10method
                 werecombinedtocalculatetheecologicalbaseflowoftheDatongRiverBasin.Meanwhile ,theearly
                 warningschemeandflowcontrolindicatorswereinvestigatedaccordingly.Theresultsshowthatthecalcu
                 lationresultsofbaseflowproportionmethodismorecomprehensiveandreasonable ,andcanreflectthe
                 ecologicalbaseflowofthebasinineachinterannualperiod.Accordingtothecalculation ,therangeof
                 ecologicalbaseflowintheDatongRiverBasinisdeterminedtobe11% -35% oftheannualaverage
                 flow ,andtheecologicalbaseflowofQingshizui,Tiantang,LianchengandXiangtangstationsis5.57-

                17.73,8.68-27.61,9.08-28.88and9.39-29.89m /s,respectively.Furthermore,theassurance
                 degreeofannualbaseflowobtainedfromtheguaranteedegreeanalysisreaches90%.Then ,accordingto
                 thedeterminedecologicalbaseflow ,theecologicalearlywarningiscategorizedintothreelevelsofblue
                 warning ,orangewarningandredwarning,basedonwhichtheearlywarningschemeisformulatedtoim
                 provethereliabilityandaccuracyofflowmonitoringandoptimizereservoirschedulinginthemeantime.
