Abstract:Phosphorusisthemainindicatingfactorofreservoireutrophicationandhasstrongaffinitytosedi
ment.Inordertoexplorethespatialdistributionlawofphosphorusinreservoirs ,asimulationtestonthe
effectofsedimentationonphosphorusadsorptionwascarriedoutunderthecouplingactionofdifferentenvi
ronmentalfactors.Besides ,theformulaforcalculatingverticaldistributionofphosphorusconcentrationin
liquidphasewasestablishedbasedondimensionalanalysisandmultipleregressionmethod.Theresults
showthattheverticaldistributionofliquidphasephosphorustendstobethickeratthetopandthinneratthe
bottomofthereservoirduetophosphorusadsorptionduringsedimentation.Thesmallertheparticlesize ,the
highertheconcentrationofsedimentandthedeeperthewaterdepth,thegreatertheconcentrationgradient
andthemoreinhomogeneoustheverticaldistributionofphosphorusinliquidphase.Theverticaldistribution
formulaofliquidphasephosphorusshowsthatthegradientofliquidphasephosphorusconcentrationispro
portionalto1/4powerofsedimentconcentration ,-2/3powerofsedimentparticlesizeand1/3powerof
waterdepth ,andtheminimum valueofliquidphasephosphorusconcentrationisproportionalto-1/20
powerofsedimentconcentration ,1/10powerofsedimentparticlesizeand -1/10powerofwaterdepth.
Thecalculatedresultsareingoodagreementwiththoseofthesimulationtest,indicatingthatthederived
formulaisapplicabletothestudyofphosphorusdistributioninreservoirs.
