Abstract:Inordertoexploretheverticalvariationofwaterevaporationlossesintheriverbasinofthe

northernslopeofKunlunMountains ,theevaporationenrichmentmodelandstableisotope( Oand H)
methodswereusedtoanalyzetheisotopedataofdifferentwaterbodiesintheCeleRiverBasinfromMay
toDecember,2016.Thetemporalandspatialvariationcharacteristicsofisotopesindifferentwaterbodies
wasstudied,therechargesourcesofthebasinwasanalyzed,andtheevaporationlossesofisotopesindif
ferentaltitudeareaswereestimatedusingtheevaporationenrichmentmodel.Theresultsshowedthatthe
isotopecharacteristicsofdifferentwaterbodiesinthebasinshowedapatternofdilutioninthehighmoun
tainousareabutenrichmentinthedesertarea.Therewasaclosehydraulicconnectionbetweentheof
CeleRiverwaterandgroundwater ;theaverageevaporationlossoftheCeleRiverBasinatdifferentalti
tudeswas24.99% inthehighmountainousarea,29.04% inthemiddlemountainousareaand
35.00% inthedesertarea.Theresultsareofgreatsignificanceforunderstandingregionalwaterbalance
anditsresponsetoclimatechangeinmountainecosystems.
