Abstract:Groundwaterqualityassessmentoftenrequiresalargenumberofwaterqualityindicators,
whichnotonlyincreasesthesamplingandtestingcost,butalsoeasilycausesrepeateddescriptionsand
distortedresults.Inthisstudy,waterqualityindicatorswereoptimizedbyPearsoncorrelationcoefficient
andfactoranalysis,andthenthegroundwaterqualityofShouguangCityinthedryseasonof2017wase
valuatedusingthefuzzycomprehensiveoptimizationmodel.Theresultsshowthatbycouplingfuzzycom
prehensiveevaluationwithvariablefuzzysets ,waterqualitycategorizationcanbesolvedwellandthere
sultsaremoreaccurateandreasonable.Furthermore,theoptimizationofindicatorsreducedtheoriginal
numberdowntofour,whichnotonlyeffectivelyreduceddataredundancy,butalsoretainedtheeffective
informationoftheoriginalindicators ,andmadeitmoreplausiblefortheevaluation.Onthisbasis,the
maindominantindicatorsofgroundwaterpollutioninthestudyareawereidentifiedasnitrate ,totalhard
ness ,zincandCOD.Inaddition,thegroundwaterpollutioninthevegetablegrowingareawasaggravat
