                 Abstract:Theraingardeninfiltratesandpurifiesrainfallrunoffthroughthecomprehensiveeffectof
                 “plant-soil-microorganism”;however,thecloggingoffillersleadstothedecreaseofitshydrauliccon
                 ductivitywiththeextensionofoperationtime,resultingintheattenuationoftheraingardenoperation
                 life.Takingtheraingardenofinfiltrationtypewhichhasbeenoperatingfortenyearsanditssurrounding
                 conventionalgreenspaceinXi ’anUniversityofTechnologyastheresearchobjects,westudiedtheinflu
                 encingfactorsofthehydraulicconductivityattenuationoftheraingardenbycomparingthetotalpollution
                 loadofthesetwofacilities,theinfiltrationrateofthefillersandtheparticlesizedistributionofdifferent
                 layers.TheresultsshowedthatthemainpollutantsintheraingardenareSS,TN,TPandCOD,andthe

                 totalinflowloadsareabout544.51,21.55,1.65and514.50g/m,whichare7-34timesofthosein
                 theconventionalgreenspace.Atpresent ,thesteadyinfiltrationrateoftheconventionalgreenspaceis
                 nearly10timesofthatoftheraingarden.Fromthetemporalperspective,thesteadyinfiltrationrateof
                 theraingardenafter10yearsofoperationis23.24mm/h,whichis5.2timeslowerthanthatintheini
                 tialstageofestablishment.Comparedwiththeconventionalgreenspaceonverticalspatialscale ,thecon
                 tentofclayandpowderparticlesintheraingardenfillerswiththeburieddepthof0-50cmarerelatively
                 high ;whereastheparticlesizedistributionofthetwofacilitiesburieddeeperthan50cmarebasicallythe
                 same,indicatingthatthephenomenonofcloggingmainlyoccurredinthefillerswiththeburieddepthof
