Abstract:Theeffectoftopdressingratioofnitrogen,phosphorusandpotassium onthegrowthrate,
yield,biomasscumulativeanddistributiontraitofsaltstressedcottonunderfilmmulcheddripirrigation
wasdiscussedandthetopdressingratiowasoptimizedbythefieldexperimentinsouthXinjiangAutono
mousRegion.Seventreatmentswithdifferenttopdressingratiosofnitrogen ,phosphorusandpotassium
(N∶PO∶KO)weresetinthefieldexperiment,namely,CK(0∶0∶0),A(1∶1∶1),B(1∶0.25∶1.25),

C(1∶0.4∶0.27),D(1∶0.23∶0.20),E(1∶0.34∶0.23)andF(1∶0.17∶0).Theaccumulationanddistri
butionofdrymatter ,yieldandharvestindexofcottonweremeasuredaccordingly.Theresultsshowed
thatcomparedwiththeaveragecolonygrowthrateofCK,treatmentsofC,E,A,B,DandFincreased
by19.56%,18.17%,15.65%,13.50%,10.55% and8.68%,respectively.Comparedwiththe
meanrelativegrowthrateofCK ,treatmentsofB,C,A,EandD increasedby6.46%,4.51%,
3.36%,2.53% and2.47%,respectively;whereastreatmentFdecreasedby0.67%.Comparedwith
theaveragegrowthrateofcottonabovegroundbiomassofCK,treatmentsofB,C,A,DandEincreased
