                 Abstract:Thecheckdamisaneffectivewaterconservancyengineeringmeasurespecificallydesignedto
                 controlwaterandsoilerosionintheLoessPlateau ,anditplaysanimportantroleinthereductionofsedi
                 mentinflowtotheYellowRiver ,siltlandreclamation,floodcontrolanddisasterreduction,aswellasec
                 ologicalandeconomicdevelopmentoftheplateau.However ,checkdamsarepronetowaterdamagedis
                 asters,itisimminenttoestablishariskassessmentsystemfortheanalysis.Accordingtotheinvestigation
                 andanalysisofthecheckdamsafflictedbywaterdamagedisasters,therisksofcheckdamswereidenti
                 fiedandacheckdamriskhierarchyanalysismodelwith3levelswasestablished ,includingcurrentrisk,
                 managementriskandaccidentconsequence,whichinvolvedin9indicatorsintotal.Withthismodel,the
                 weightofeachriskfactorofthecheckdamswascalculatedandthesafetystatusofthecheckdamswere
                 evaluatedcomprehensivelyusingthefuzzyanalytichierarchyprocess.Theresultsshowedthatthefuzzy
                 analytichierarchyprocessimprovedtheconsistencyoftheanalytichierarchyprocesseffectively ,itcan
                 provideaconvenientandnoviceapproachfortheriskassessmentofcheckdams.
