Abstract:Aimingatthedynamicimpactofglobalclimatechangeonthespatialandtemporalevolutionof
precipitation ,thedailyprecipitationdataof85meteorologicalstationsinandaroundtheQinghai-Tibet
Plateauduring41afrom1978to2018wereselectedtoanalyzethetypicaldistributiontypesofannual
precipitationandregionalspatiotemporalevolutionofprecipitationoftheplateauusingempiricalorthogo
nalfunction(EOF),rotatingempiricalorthogonalfunction(REOF),Sen’sslopeestimation,slidingt
testandMorletwaveletanalysis.TheresultsshowthattheoverallannualprecipitationoftheQinghai-
TibetPlateaumainlypresentedtwotypicaldistributiontypes ,whicharenorth-southdifferenceand
southeast-northwestdifference,andtherewasadry-wetdifferencethatgraduallydecreasedaroundthe
centercomposedofthelowerreachesoftheYarlungZangboRiver ,thelowerreachesoftheLancangRiv
erandwesternSichuan.REOFwasthenusedtodividetheQinghai-TibetPlateauintoeightgeographic
zones ,theprecipitationinzoneⅤ andⅥ showedadownwardtrend,withadecreaseof1.5% and
3.7%,respectively;whereastheprecipitationinZone Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ, Ⅶ andⅧ showedanupwardtrend,
